Help us save lives!

The interval following traumatic injury is critical. Optimization of treatment during this time is paramount for survival. In this war, numerous front-line medical teams have been recruited and many lack the essential equipment needed to treat the critically injured in the challenging environment of warfare.

Health, Research and Science, an Israeli NGO, has initiated a mission to provide this equipment to front-line medical teams throughout Israel. Every donation increases the chances of saving the lives of the brave men and women protecting us, and increases their chances to live to see the day after.

Our Mission

We are a physician-led initiative that communicates directly with medical teams in the field and receive real-time updates on the equipment needs of the units. We provide high-quality equipment directly to the hands of front-line medical units.

A wide shortage of the advanced equipment:

The life-saving equipment is approved for usage in the field and to maximize the safety and efficiency of both diagnosis and treatment.

  • Airway management– Video laryngoscopes, laryngeal masks, ventilators, and capnographs.
  • Monitoring equipment– cardiac monitor-defibrillator, pulse oximetry, automatic blood pressure monitors.
  • Hand-held ultrasounds– for diagnosis of internal bleeding, endotracheal tube placement, pneumothorax.

Thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organizations in Israel and around the world we have supplied: dozens of video laryngoscopes, portable ultrasound machines, monitors, capnographs, pulse-oximeters, and various equipment on an as-needed basis.

Help us to continuously provide advanced tools to medical teams so that they can provide the best possible care according to their training and expertise.

Our NGO Health Research and Science in Israel was established in 2017 with the mission to promote the incorporation of evidence-based medicine into the fabric of the Israeli medical society. Venues we use are education of health professionals as well as public education. We are leaders in providing courses and career counseling for medical professionals, guiding them to build impactful careers in the Israeli healthcare system.

With the onset of the war we took on the pragmatic task of providing up to date medical equipment to frontline medical teams in whom such equipment is lacking. We are bridging the gap of Israeli tactical field care to evidence based medicine. This move is what we must do for our country at war as civilian medical professionals.

The association is approved for tax exemption for donations under Section 46, and maintains proper management. You can find more information about the association on our website and on the Ministry of Justice's GuideStar website.
